Are we guaranteed to get all of the inserts that are on the insert previews?
No. Because we pull from multiple papers from multiple zip codes, there may be times when one paper doesn't carry some of the "special inserts", or all of the regular inserts on the preview. When this happens, we simply try to cut the number of those inserts that are included in your order to 1/2 your order amount. This allows us to spread them out across all of our customers. If we did not do this, we would simply not include any of them since not everyone could have them. Subsequently we would list them on the site on a first come, first served basis. Those people who wanted to purchase them would be able to get them for an additional cost. It is our experience that our customers are happier with having half than having to pay extra. Of course, if we do not get all of the inserts, then you simply won't get what we didn't receive relative to the preview. Since you are paying us to reimburse us for the paper and the labor, unfortunately, our costs don't change so the prices don't change (unless shipping is affected). When we don't get them, our costs for the paper stay flat and we have no recourse. If you want to gamble as to whether or not you will get the inserts at all, it would be best to wait until we have confirmed what we have physically received. Those orders will not be made available until late Sunday or early Monday. It is important to know that orders are filled in the following order: all autobill orders, internet pre-orders that are completed prior to our first batch of labels on Friday afternoon, then internet orders that flow over the weekend. In the event we don't receive all orders, those items are pulled from the site immediately.
How do I pay?
We take virtually every form of payment known to man via PayPal. However, you can pay with all major credit cards as well as electronic check. It is important to remember that if you pay via check, PayPal will not recognize your order as paid until your check has cleared the bank. This can and will delay your shipping if your order is still pending at the Friday 7pm EST payment deadline.
I ordered on your website and paid on Monday, when will I receive my inserts?
Many people new to couponing and new to our site do not understand the way the insert service works. Some of the packages on Insert Insanity are a "prepaid pre-order". In other words, if you order a pre-order on Monday, you are ordering the inserts for the following weekend. Many people email throughout the week asking why they haven't received their inserts yet. The answer is quite simple: They haven't been printed yet! We can't ship what doesn't exist. We do pre-orders so that we can accurately project our needs to the paper. By doing prepaid pre-orders, we are able to guarantee certain numbers to our relationships at the papers which allows us to keep our costs down and subsequently our prices. If you order inserts from a prior week, the cut-off for shipping is noon. If you order before noon, they will ship the same day. If you order after noon, they will ship the next day.
How many whole coupon inserts should I purchase when just starting out?
We recommend that you purchase 2 sets of inserts per family member as a rule of thumb. Some people choose to include pets in that number and some don't. However, this is just a rule of thumb. We recommend that you actually track your purchases so that you know your exact stockpile quantity for each item in your stockpile. Why don't your prices fluctuate?
We truly charge for time and materials. The price will never really fluctuate due to more inserts being in the paper. If we changed our pricing each week, would we be selling a service or selling coupons? All prices reflect a full set.
I read on another site that there are supposed to be extra inserts in the paper. Will there be an extra charge for those?
The short answer is no. Because we are not guaranteed to get every single insert in our papers, we only advertise what we know for sure will run. If there are, in fact, extra inserts in our papers, we include everything in the paper up to the capacity of the envelope. For example, if we advertise there are only 3 inserts in the paper and you order ten of each, which is a total of 30 individual inserts. That leaves room for another 10 inserts in your envelope. We would fill your envelope with 10 of the extra inserts at no additional cost.
